Chamber office switches to summer hours

June 25th, 2009

This is a notice to members that the NWT Chamber of Commerce office will now be operating on a reduced summer schedule.

The office is closed for the remainder of June and will reopen for six days in July: the 6th-8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th.

The Chamber will be officially closed during August with urgent phone messages and e-mails being picked up periodically during the month.

Additionally the next Board and Executive Committee meetings will not be scheduled until September.

"With the summer holiday season upon us, Directors wanted to ensure everyone had a chance to get outside and enjoy the nice weather with their friends and family," said NWT Chamber Executive Director John Curran. "The break will give everyone involved in our organization the opportunity to recharge their batteries ahead of what will hopefully be a busy fall in the NWT."
