Canada United Small Business Relief Fund
About Canada United: Created by RBC, #CanadaUnited is a movement to support small businesses in communities across Canada. The Canada United Small Business Relief Fund (CUSBRF) was established to help small businesses offset the cost of expenses to reopen safely or adopt digital technologies to move more of their business online.
Over $14 million has been contributed to the Canada United Small Business Relief Fund by the Federal Government, RBC, and #CanadaUnited partners to support recovery efforts due to COVID-19. We can now extend relief grants to more small businesses and restart accepting applications across all Provinces and Territories for expenses incurred no earlier than March 15, 2020. To date, this fund has provided relief to over 2,000 small businesses across the country
Grants of up to $5,000 are available to cover expenses related to personal protective equipment (PPE), renovations to accommodate re-opening guidelines and developing or improving website and e-commerce capabilites.
If you had previously received funding from the NWT Chamber through their Reopening, Safely Grant program and still additional expenses that can be covered, you can apply to the #CanadaUnited Small Business Relief Fund.
We are pleased to let you know that applications will be accepted again starting February 16th, 2021 at 11:00 am MST
