As the North’s largest and most influential business association, the NWTCC gives voice to the economic interests of our business community. We speak to the impacts of government policy and foster improvements and change. We meet regularly with Territorial and Federal Cabinet Ministers and senior bureaucrats to ensure your business interests are understood and at the forefront of the Territorial and National agenda.

As a single voice, it’s difficult to get your message across. Whether it’s the public media or in-camera meetings with Territorial and Federal officials, the NWTCC tackles the burning issues, balancing the scales with evidence-based research and input from our members. You and your business can be heard through the NWT Chamber of Commerce, the voice of business in the North.

The NWTCC develops the most substantial business conferences in northern Canada, attracting nationally distinguished speakers and

subject matter experts from key sectors of our economy. Business leaders learn a lot at these conferences, not just from speakers, but from each other. When it comes to business challenges someone in our membership has been there before and they’re ready to share their solutions.

We need your support to continue working on your behalf. In association with the network of community chambers in Fort Simpson, Inuvik, Norman Wells, Hay River, Yellowknife, and Fort Smith, the NWT Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization North of 60. You’ll also be part of a network of more than 450 chambers of commerce across Canada and can help shape public policy in the Legislative Assembly and on Parliament Hill.
